I want to know the history of LOTD Multiplay

Hi. I have played LOTD since 2007
Of course not always, just sometimes with my friends.

I have experiences played with Trin, Brando, Cosmo, Grim, Destroyers..
Now Everybody left, but still Korean players are playing sometimes together.

Anyway, I want to know the history about lotd multiplay
I mean, I guess Trin was the legend of LOTD cuz he made LMS server and a lot of maps. But he disappeared very early
And Brando or other mappers kept making various maps, servers

What happened to them, why they left (because this game is too old I guess)
Who still playing or making maps or mods?
