Post by DeepImpact »

* How to Fix LOTD Brightness, Contrass, and Gamma.

FIRST. Try.. changing the gamma level in the lotd game Settings.. Gamma Level.
If that doesn't help.. continue on below..

1: Open LOTD.ini in notepad. .... lotd.ini is located in the lotd folder /system/

2: Underneath: [WinDrv.WindowsClient]
* Change these settings....

( Write down the settings you have now before changing them please.)

Brightness=0.900000
Contrast=0.750000
Gamma=1.250000
Click File: Save.. and your done.. now load the game. and check the brightnes and contrass etc..

* Now.. your game should not be too dark or too bright now. :)

and Yes.. Those are the settings that I am using.

And Yes: Underneath: [SDLDrv.SDLClient]
The same settings apply. I don't think those matters though..
but you can change those there also if you want.

I believe these are the default settings.
Brightness=0.700000
Contrast=0.600000
Gamma=0.800000

Notice: For Home LOTD Server runners using LOTD Configuration Editor.
If you are using LOTD Configuration Editor. In your server.ini that you have made...
You will need to change the brightness, contrass, and gamma in your server.ini file also.
Before launching your home lotd server. ie: by the launch and play button.
----------------------------
For Unreal Editor users.. the settings are in DevLOTD.ini.
It makes the menus too bright though.. not recommended.
Just write down the settings before changing something. please.
