Fresh Install - Can't Join Online Games

Wow, I'm surprised and very glad this forum exists!

Some friends and I wanted to relive our glory days of the Day of the Dead map, so I wanted to see if it was possible.

I got the game installed along with the V1.1 patch, downloaded INTrinDay100. I can launch the game, I can play that map, and I can apparently host a game (nobody else can test join me yet).

So I saw surprisingly there's servers running. On each one, it'll even download the map. But every time, it either hangs on the load screen and then says "Connection Failed", or it will finish downloading and then show the error "Downloading package '______(map name)' failed: Error moving file".

If anyone still reads these boards, is this a common problem? I tried searching the forums and using the stickied threads but couldn't find this error exactly.

----SIDE NOTE----
Are there any hosted copies of InTrinDayV102? I somehow found a copy of the .dz file, but when I try to host it, I get errors about missing files that I feel should have come with the .zip, not just the .dz map file.

Two examples are TrinZombieAIV2 (I think I found a copy), but now I'm stuck on: "DawnHumanTextures.utx".
Hopefully there's still a copy of the much better V102 map with these other files included?

Edit: It may not be the map name in my error, but required files that won't download with the map. i just tried joining a hosted InTrinDayV102 map and got the same error but with the file I mentioned "DawnHumanTextures"

In case anyone sees this in the future, the files graciously laid out here included the dependencies I needed!

Hello Dillion, sorry for the late reply. Been busy with work these past 2 days. I am glad to see people feeling nostalgic over the game and poping in once in a while ! Also glad to see they seek to help themselves, as you did and figure out why things dont work

Yes, it sounds like you needed a lot of files and the server redirect cant handle all the load to give them to you... You did well installing our RD map packs. You should also install the 26 Cobra packs. They contain the older LOTD maps. have fun and enjoy the game !
