i am on xfire too artimus if you want to add me so i can help you sometime mapping...if you need some help.... my name on xfire is tonytango2001..... as for the skyboxes... when you have the desired skybox.... add a light into it... by right cliking in the skybox and place a light here... then you go into the light properties and expand light color and adjust the brightness as it will be set to zero by default which will make your skybox black until you brighten it up.

everytime you make a change in your map.. click on build all rather than build geometry otherwise you will see lightting problems later on in the mapping (it's always best to view your map of how it will actually look in the game while you are making it)

Hi and thanks... Haven't checked in for a while as I've been pretty busy but u can download and test out a map
for me if u want at (http://www.filefront.com/16251827/INbeamcity.rar)..
It works but is far from perfect as the pathing is a mess.. but I got tired of messing with it and decided to
upload it and see if anyone else might be interested in fixing it up...

that looks pretty for a first map :)
im not playing LOTD Too much anymore .. just seen it in the editor
im not great with mapping but i may have a look ......
btw may i ask whats with all those DM Maps ?

Those are some dm maps i modded a bit (mostly no-zombie ie: NZ in the file name)..

The invasion map needs a bit of work still.. have u seen those paths?? (wheeeeh)
also needs lots more guns and ammo.
